Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film ‘Emergency’ which is based on former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. The actress has left no stone unturned to perfect her role in the biopic as she has put her heart and soul into this project. Kangana has even mortgaged her property to make ‘Emergency.’ Yes, you read that right! During the wrap party of the film, she made this revelation and even told the media that she does not fear losing anything now.

Speaking to the media at the party last night, the Queen actress was asked if she was prepared to face bankruptcy as all her properties are under possession. Her answer only proved why she is hailed as the fearless actress of B-Town. Kangana stated that when she came to Mumbai to pursue her dream of acting she had only rupees 500 and at that time she held high and made herself. The Dhaakad actress further spoke about Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan and praised the film saying she feels movies like this should definitely work. Ranaut said, “Pathaan acha kar rahi hai. Aisi films chalni chahiye aur I feel ki jo hamare Hindi cinema wale piche reh gaye hain, har insaan apne level pe koshish kar raha hai.”

Meanwhile, the wrap-up party of ‘Emergency’ was held last night and it was attended by Kangana and the other cast and crew of the film including, Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Mahima Chaudhary, Shreyas Talpade, and others.  The film is slated to hit the theatres on 20 October 2023.
